Zsolt Romos is an associate professor at the University of Debrecen Faculty of Music, as well as a lecturer at the Liszt Academy of Music and the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music in Budapest.
Graduated with honours from Liszt Academy of Music in 1993. He defended his DLA doctoral thesis at the same institution in 2018, receiving a summa cum laude distinction.
He has been teaching since 1991, and throughout his pedagogical career, he has gained extensive experience in flute education across all levels, from beginner to advanced. He is a regular jury member at national and international competitions, and frequently holds masterclasses, demonstration lessons, accredited teacher training courses, and professional lectures both in Hungary and abroad.
From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the Hungarian Telecom Symphony Orchestra (predecessor Concerto Budapest), meanwhile, from 1993 to 1995 he was a regular guest musician with the Budapest Festival Orchestra. As an orchestra musician, he has performed in almost all European countries, as well as in the United States and Canada.
As a dedicated advocate of contemporary Hungarian music, he has been involved in numerous world premieres and recording projects of contemporary compositions.
