Over the course of two weeks, 32 internationally well-known and sought-after professors and 17 instrumental and vocal mastercourses are waiting for the participants of the Academy.
In addition to numerous individual mastercourses, talented young musicians can also take part in an orchestral mastercourse. The Kodály Zoltán World Youth Orchestra has performed in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, in addition to Hungary.
We look forward to applications of talented high school students, university students and young music teachers from all over the world. The location of the Academy is the campus of Debrecen University, which is situated in Nagyerdő (Great Forest), a touristic sight of Debrecen. At the end of the Academy we will provide certificates of the courses completed and credits obtained.
The highlight program of the event is the Musical Evenings in the Great Forest concert series, which awaits the audience with special, thematic concerts performed by the professors of the Academy and other Hungarian and foreign artists, every evening in the Liszt Hall of the University of Debrecen Faculty of Music.
