Associate professor and head of the Chamber Music Department at the University of Debrecen Faculty of Music.

Graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music (Budapest) in 2008 as a student of György Lakatos and György Keszler. He continued his study at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as a student of Richard Galler. He is a prizewinner of numerous national and international competitions. In 2001, he was awarded the László Hara Jr. Prize by the Hungarian Bassoon Society. In 2015, he obtained his DLA doctoral degree from the Liszt Academy of Music.

As a soloist, he has performed on several occasions with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the “Dinu Lipatti” Symphony Orchestra of Satu Mare, and the Gödöllő Symphony Orchestra. Within the framework of the “Guests at FUGA” concert series organized by FUGA – Budapest Center of Architecture, he was given the opportunity to present solo recitals on several occasions, focusing primarily on contemporary Hungarian bassoon repertoire. He has also appeared in connection with contemporary music projects at the Bartók Festival in Szombathely, the Young Musicians' Summer Academy in Debrecen, the Mini-Festival organized by the Hungarian Music Society, and the Crescendo Summer Academy, where he also worked as a bassoon teacher.

Founding member of the Corridor Bassoon Quartet, established in 2012, for which he has also prepared numerous arrangements as well as original compositions. In 2014, their solo album Corridoors was released by Hunnia Records, featuring compositions by Tibor Csuhaj-Barna.

He considers the expansion of the bassoon repertoire a personal mission. In addition to commissioning pieces from several Hungarian composers, he has written numerous original compositions and arrangements for solo bassoon, bassoon ensemble, and bassoon-piano settings. In 2016, his first solo album, Rendezvous with Bach, was released by Danvantara Records and features his own arrangements of pieces by J. S. Bach.
