Kata Huszárik comes from a family of artists. Her mother, Anna Nagy, is a Jászai Mari Prize-winning and Merited Artist actress, and her father, Zoltán Huszárik, was a Kossuth Prize-winning film director.
After graduating from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, she spent six years at the Katona József Theatre. She then joined the company of the Szigligeti Theatre in Szolnok, where she worked until 2012, and was a member of the Maladype Theatre until 2018.
Her versatile artistic career has taken her across many fields: she has appeared in films and television productions, and is also active in dubbing, hosting, and leading literary events.
Her work has been recognized with several awards, including the Mensáros Prize (2003), the Golden Medal Award (2017), the “Treasure of Csömör” Award (2019), and the Jászai Mari Prize (2019).
