He graduated in french horn with honors at the A. Buzzolla Conservatory, in Italy, specializing then with masters such as H. Baumann, E. Penzel, G. Cass, I. James, V. Globokar and others.
He won various music performance competitions for Solo and Chamber Music categories that brought him to carry out an intense concert activity as a soloist, in chamber ensembles and with orchestra, realizing many audio recordings for Decca Classics, Sony Classical, Arkadia Records, Tactus Records, Naxos Records, Fonè Records, Brilliant Classics and television recordings as the renowned Pavarotti International for the National RAI Radio Italian Television, collaborating with important italian and foreign musical foundations and associations and playing with renowned conductors, soloists and opera singers such as Prêtre, Chailly, Gatti, Delman, Kuhn, Gerghiev, Myung-Whun Chung, Orozco-Estrada, Buchbinder, Schiff, Ashkenazi, Krylov, Rachlin, Zukerman, Maisky, Pavarotti, Cecilia Bartoli, Montserrat Caballé, and many others.
He has performed concerts in prestigious European theaters and concert halls such as Accademia di Santa Cecilia (Rome), Teatro alla Scala (Milan), Théâtre de l’Opéra (Montecarlo), Großes Festspielhaus (Salzburg), Wiener Musikverein (Vienna), Palau de la Mùsica Catalana (Barcelona), Auditorio Nacional de Mùsica (Madrid), Mozarteum Großer Saal (Salzburg), Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna), Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (Paris), KKL (Luzern), ElbPhilharmonie (Hamburg), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Philharmonie de Paris, Victoria Hall (Geneve), Tonhalle (Zurich), Müpa (Budapest), Esterházy Palace (Eisenstadt), Operaház (Budapest), and many others.
He has played as principal horn with various orchestras such as Arturo Toscanini Orchestra in Parma, Cameristi del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liverpool, Akademisches Orchester Berlin, Orchestre Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco in Montecarlo, Fenice Theater Orchestra in Venice, ‘Leonore’ Orchestra, Fenice Philharmonic Orchestra in Venice, and many others.
He regularly holds master classes and He is a member of the jury in national and international competitions.
He’s currently professor of the chair of French Horn, Baroque and Natural Horn at the “B. Marcello” State Conservatory of Music in Venice.
